Repetitive or forceful activities

Carpal tunnel syndrome - Repetitive or forceful activities Factor

Definitions

Note that there are different definitions for repetitive activities depending on whether you are considering a reasonable hypothesis case (operational service) or a balance of probabilities case (eligible service).  The definition of forceful activities is the same for both standards of proof.

·    Repetitive activities for reasonable hypothesis cases

·    Repetitive activities for balance of probabilities cases

·    Forceful activities

The SOP factor allows for any combination of repetitive activities or forceful activities with the hand affected by carpal tunnel syndrome.
