Preliminary questions [36287]
there is some evidence that dehydration may be a factor in the development of the condition under consideration.36346 the veteran has retinal vein occlusion.
the veteran was at least 5 percent dehydrated at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease.36355 — the veteran has established the causal connection between dehydration and VEA service for the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease.
36357 — the veteran has established the causal connection between dehydration and operational service for the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease.
or
36358 — the veteran has established the causal connection between dehydration and eligible service for the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease.
Clinical onset and operational service [36357]
on operational service, the veteran was at least 5 percent dehydrated at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease. the veteran's dehydration on operational service at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline.or
the veteran was at least 5 percent dehydrated at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease as a consequence of an illness or injury which is identifiable.36365 — the identified illness or injury, as a consequence of which the veteran was at least 5 percent dehydrated at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease, is causally related to operational service.
Clinical onset and eligible service [36358]
on eligible service, the veteran was at least 5 percent dehydrated at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease. as a causal result of eligible service, the veteran was at least 5 percent dehydrated at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease. the veteran's dehydration on eligible service duties at the time of the clinical onset of retinal vascular occlusive disease was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline.or
