there is some evidence that a trauma to the perineum may be a factor in the development of the condition under consideration.17549 the veteran has suffered a trauma to the perineum at some time.

Clinical onset and operational service [17553]
on operational service, the veteran suffered a trauma to the perineum immediately before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration. the trauma to the perineum that the veteran suffered on operational service immediately before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline.or
the veteran suffered a trauma to the perineum immediately before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration as a result of an illness or injury which is identifiable.17555 — the identified illness or injury, which caused the trauma to the perineum, is causally related to operational service.
