35433 — the veteran has established the causal connection between chewing betel quid or areca nut and VEA service for the clinical onset of the malignant neoplasm of the oral cavity, oropharynx or hypopharynx.

35434 — the veteran has established the causal connection between chewing betel quid or areca nut and operational service for the clinical onset of the malignant neoplasm of the oral cavity, oropharynx or hypopharynx.

the veteran chewed betel quid or areca nut on more days than not for at least ten years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration, and where such usage has ceased the clinical onset has occurred within ten years of cessation.
