the veteran has been a parenteral drug user at some time. in the course of the veteran's parenteral drug use, the veteran has shared needles at some time. in the course of the veteran's parenteral drug use, the veteran shared needles more than 2 weeks before the clinical onset of hepatitis C. the parenteral drug use, in the course of which the veteran shared needles more than 2 weeks before the clinical onset of hepatitis C, was due to an illness or injury which is identifiable.10305 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the parenteral drug use and VEA service for the clinical onset of hepatitis C.
