Preliminary questions [36702]
there is some evidence that over-consumption of vitamin A may be a factor in the development or worsening of the condition under consideration.36703 the veteran has consumed at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years at some time.
the veteran's consumption of at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years was materially contributed to by treatment of an illness or injury which is identifiable.36706 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and VEA service for osteoporosis.
the identified illness or injury made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years within the ten years before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.36707 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and VEA service for the clinical onset of osteoporosis.
36709 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and operational service for the clinical onset of osteoporosis.
or
36710 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and eligible service for the clinical onset of osteoporosis.
or
the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred after the end of the veteran's last period of VEA service. the condition under consideration permanently worsened. the identified illness or injury made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years within the ten years before the clinical worsening of the condition under consideration.36708 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and VEA service for the clinical worsening of osteoporosis.
36711 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and operational service for the clinical worsening of osteoporosis.
or
36712 — the veteran has established the causal connection between over-consumption of vitamin A and eligible service for the clinical worsening of osteoporosis.
Clinical onset and operational service [36709]
36715 — the identified illness or injury which made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years is causally related to operational service.
Clinical onset and eligible service [36710]
36716 — the identified illness or injury which made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years is causally related to eligible service.
Clinical worsening and operational service [36711]
36715 — the identified illness or injury which made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years is causally related to operational service.
the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred prior to that part of operational service to which the identified illness or injury which made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years is causally related.Clinical worsening and eligible service [36712]
36716 — the identified illness or injury which made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years is causally related to eligible service.
the clinical onset of the condition under consideration occurred prior to that part of eligible service to which the identified illness or injury which made a material contribution to the veteran consuming at least 7.5 milligrams per day of vitamin A over a period of at least two years is causally related.
