there is some evidence that having unprotected sexual intercourse may be a factor in the development of the condition under consideration.12386 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the unprotected sexual intercourse with a person not shown to be hepatitis B negative and VEA service for the clinical onset of hepatitis B.
Clinical onset and operational service [12386]
12024 there is evidence of recent infection with the condition under consideration.
12387 — the veteran has established the causal connection between the unprotected sexual intercourse with a person not shown to be hepatitis B negative and VEA service for recent infection with hepatitis B.
12390 — the veteran has established the causal connection between having unprotected sexual intercourse on service with a person not shown to be hepatitis B negative and operational service for recent infection with hepatitis B.
as a causal result of operational service, the veteran had unprotected sexual intercourse with a person not shown to be hepatitis B negative within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with the condition under consideration. the unprotected sexual intercourse on operational service with a person not shown to be hepatitis B negative within the six months immediately before the evidence of recent infection with the condition under consideration was due to the veteran's serious default, wilful act or serious breach of discipline.or
12391 — the veteran has established the causal connection between having unprotected sexual intercourse on service with a person not shown to be hepatitis B negative and eligible service for recent infection with hepatitis B.
