Increased weight bearing activity involving the foot
Plantar fasciitis - Increased weight bearing activity involving the foot Factor
Members of the ADF frequently experience a sudden increase in the intensity of weight bearing exercise when they commence recruit training, undertake fitness assessments, and engage in military exercises. However, it is necessary to compare the individual's weight bearing activity with prior levels of weight bearing activity to consider whether or not an increase is achieved. The medical officer diagnosing plantar fasciitis is likely to have taken a history of the person's relevant activities leading up to the development of the condition. The increase in weight bearing activity can apply to frequency, duration, or intensity of the weight bearing activity involving the affected foot.

Clinical onset and operational service [37849]
37853 the veteran increased the frequency, duration, or intensity of weight bearing activity involving side and site of the body, by at least 100 percent, to a minimum intensity of five METs for at least two hours per day, within the seven days before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.
37859 on operational service, the veteran increased the frequency, duration, or intensity of weight bearing activity involving side and site of the body, by at least 100 percent, to a minimum intensity of five METs for at least two hours per day, within the seven days before the clinical onset of the condition under consideration.
