Edits/Warnings
The following new edits and warnings have been created:
- An Edit Message will appear if an Accommodation Bond and Entry Contribution are both entered for a client. This combination is not permitted.
- If an examiner tries to delete the RA Not Payable indicator of 'R' - 'Client in Residential Care Facility' and there is an accommodation Bond amount recorded, an edit message will appear “Client cannot receive rent assistance whilst in an approved Residential Care Facility”.
- If the Date of Entry is pre 1 October 1997 and an examiner enters an amount in the “Accommodation Bond” field, a warning message should appear “Accommodation Bond is only valid for a pre 1 October 1997 entry date if client has moved to another facility or the client has requested the new accommodation bond rules be applied instead of previous entry contribution rules”.
- If the Date of Entry is post 1 October 1997 and an examiner enters an amount in the “Entry Contribution” field or does not enter an amount in either field, a warning message should appear “Accommodation Bond should be recorded unless the client is residing in an unapproved Residential Care”.
Note 1: Accommodation bonds are not payable by concessional residents. A nil amount should be recorded for this group.
Note 2: These warning and edit messages have been modified in line with systems changes made since 1 October 1997. Refer to DI C13/98 for details of the modified messages.
