Summary of changes

A new field has been added to the Residential Situation screen on PIPS PC to allow for the entry of accommodation bonds.  The “Entry Contribution” field has been retained because it is still relevant to residents who entered aged care before 1 October 1997 or who enter care that is not subsidised by the Commonwealth Government.  Entry contributions are also still relevant to residents of special residences such as retirement villages and granny flats.

The screen also now cancels rent assistance by default whenever a residential situation corresponding to residence in an aged care facility is entered.

A button has been provided at the bottom of the screen to provide access to the new Residential Care Search screen.
