How PRACSYS Sets Up Recovery Accounts
As previously indicated, for employers, recovery is set up as 'O'ffset 'Lump sum'. The List screen in this example provides a good display of how this works.
The List screen shows both 'C' (closed) and 'X' (reversed) as account status'.
This indicates that either:
-
Cautomatic full retrieval of the overpayment has occurred
from subsequent cheque remittances, or
-
XPRACSYS has reversed the overpayment.
|
Example |
|
A user voids a period of paid incapacity. PRACSYS automatically sets up a recovery account for the paid amount. |
|
The user then reissues the incapacity for a greater figure, cancelling the previous overpaid amount. PRACSYS automatically reverses the recovery account, as it no longer applies. |
