Under The SRC Act

There are some employees who are specifically excluded from the Act  [section 5 (8)].

They are:

  • members of Parliament and ministers of State;

  • judges;

  • employees of the Public Service of an external Territory (eg Norfolk Island); or

  • seamen who are covered under the Seafarers' Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1992.
