When And How Payments Are Made
Once accounts have a 'verified' status, they are ready to be picked up in the week's pay run, which occurs every Wednesday evening. This results in a magnetic tape being sent to the printing firm, Hermes Precisa Australia (HPA), where cheques are printed and mailed the following day.
If, after the pay run, a mistake has been made with payment, arrangements may be made for the Financial Services Group to 'stop' the cheque.
