Account Management

Account Management is a specialised and critically important service provided by Comcare for customers.  The service involves designated Account Managers, named:

  • National Business Managers (NBMs); and

  • State Account Managers (SAMs).

In August 1991, to consolidate and enhance existing levels of service, it was decided to provide this dedicated service, which would assist customers to reduce their premiums and streamline their procedures for claims management and return to work.

This decision led to the development of approximately 10 Account Management positions in State and Territory offices.
