Comcare Australia Corporate Direction Statement 1996 - 98 |
The Corporate Direction Statement (issued in late 1996) was developed with the intention of providing a focus for Comcare for the period from 1996 to 1998.
While Comcare's work environment will change over the life of the statement, the essential direction is clear:
- administer the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988;
- administer the Occupational Health and Safety (Commonwealth Employment) Act 1991; and
- provide an efficient and valued service to Commonwealth Government employers.
In line with this direction the Corporate Direction Statement sets out expected outcomes from the organisation. It has been developed following consultation from a number of different groups.
