Student Reviews
Where a weekly payment is being made under section 17 (5), reviews are necessary when the child:
-
turns 16; and
-
is between 16 and 25 and pursuing studies. This review is important to establish whether the child:
-
continues to meet the definition of 'prescribed child' under the Act and therefore continues to qualify for payments under section 17 (5); and
-
is still wholly or mainly dependent.
