  • small recurrent inguinal hernia (operable but not readily reducible)
  • colostomy

  • large recurrent inguinal hernia (inoperable and not readily reducible)
  • oesophagostomy
  • gastrostomy
  • ventral hernia not well supported

ANY ONE of the following:

  • massive ventral hernia (inoperable with severe diastasis of rectus)
  • jejunostomy
  • ileostomy
