Style of Reasons to be provided
In many offices there is a formal process of writing a case summary to place on file to either recommend a determination where the writer is not the delegate, or to support a determination where the writer is the delegate. Reasons provided in response to this question should be of a similar nature and style.
Even in offices where this is not a formal process, at some point a decision is made or recommended. Examples are set out below.
A feature of these examples is that they mostly contain at least some information which comes from a decision made by the claims officer in response to reading information which is not capable of being gathered by the IL module.
