Start Date
The start date that is entered here should be the start of a specific period during which the client's circumstances remain stable. The Incapacity Calculator will determine a weekly rate of compensation and a total amount of compensation for the period between this Start Date and an End Date which is collected in a separate question.
If the client's circumstances change, the start of these changed circumstances should be treated as the start of a new calculation period. Changes in circumstances which will usually trigger a new calculation period are discussed below.
