Review procedures
Progress toward 104 weeks should be monitored and action taken to ensure that, where it appears likely the 104 week total will be reached, that:
- the client is advised that the impact of reaching the 104 weeks is cessation of incapacity compensation payments. Four to eight weeks advance warning of this is recommended.
- action is taken by the use of resubmit to ensure that the client's case is reassessed once the 104 weeks total is reached. It is important that this action is taken promptly to reduce the possibility of an overpayment occurring.
