Relevance of this question
The current (CPI-adjusted) weekly amount of the client's superannuation pension is relevant to the operation of the superannuation rules (ss 20, 21, 21A) which, in certain circumstances, provide for a reduction in weekly incapacity compensation where a retired client receives superannuation benefits.
In the case of a Reserve member, the relevant superannuation benefits are those paid under a superannuation scheme established by the Commonwealth Government (eg. the CSS and PSS schemes, DFRDB, MSBS and AGEST) or by a Commonwealth statutory authority or Commonwealth-owned corporation (eg. the Australia Post Superannuation Scheme or the Telstra Superannuation Scheme). For details of such schemes, refer to the separate list of Commonwealth Superannuation Schemes.
