Validation of WPI Amounts
A percentage degree of WPI entered by an assessor will be subject to the following validation tests:
- if the impairment does not relate to hearing loss, it must be a whole integer not greater than the maximum allowed under the relevant table;
- if the impairment relates to a hearing loss it can be a fraction although it cannot be greater than 50;
An invalid figure will result in an error message being displayed indicating what is the maximum WPI allowed for the relevant table.
