Uncertain option
If the user selects “Uncertain” as the response, the interview will continue to investigate other possible options for proving that the employment nexus rules can be satisfied. For instance, it will go on and investigate whether the definition of injury may be satisfied under s 4(3) as a result of medical treatment.
If all other avenues do not satisfy the tests then the uncertain response to this question will result in the employment nexus stage being uncertain. That is, the module will indicate that the condition might satisfy the employment nexus rules for the condition.
Accordingly the overall investigation will also result in an uncertain outcome requiring the user to make a judgement as to the final recommendation.
