10.3.3 Principle 3 - Solicitation of personal information generally
Where the Department solicits personal information (whether from the person that the information is about or otherwise), it must take reasonable steps to ensure:
- that the information is relevant to the purpose of the collection, up-to-date and complete; and
- that its collection does not unreasonably intrude upon the person's personal affairs.
