6.1.2 Overpaid amount
6.1.2.1 — In general terms, the amount a pensioner has been overpaid is determined as follows:

6.1.2.2 — Prior to 13 July 1999, this was calculated by first identifying the amount the pensioner was overpaid in each fortnight:

6.1.2.3 — From 13 July 1999, this is calculated by first identifying the amount the pensioner was overpaid on each day:

6.1.2.4 — This amount is then multiplied by the number of fortnights, or days as applicable, in the overpayment period to give the total overpayment:
