8.3.9 DVA pensioner granted Centrelink payment

8.3.9.1Current Centrelink instructions require that Centrelink request a clearance from DVA in the following situations:

  • upon grant of a social security pension, benefit or allowance where the client (or partner) is known to be in receipt of, or has applied for, a DVA pension
  • for Double Orphan Pension (Centrelink) grants where the customer is known to be in receipt of, or has claimed, Double Orphan's Pension (DVA)
  • for Mobility Allowance where the customer may have been granted assistance under the Vehicle Assistance Scheme (DVA).
