C11/2006 Date of effect for annual property valuation exercise where pension increases due to reduction in property value

Purpose

The purpose of this departmental instruction is to correct an error in DI No: C42/2005 regarding pension increases due to reduction in property value.

Change

DI No: C42/2005 incorrectly states:

Cases where the value of a property has reduced may be actioned for the increase of service pension from the next available payday.

However, the date of effect is the date the AVO data is received by National Office.  The correct date of effect for this year is 17 April 2006.
