6.8 Calculating the rate of Incapacity Payments for Former members

Last amended: 19 June 2014

There are six main scenarios which could apply to the calculation of normal earnings and normal weekly hours for former members. However there are only 4 methods of calculating NE for former members including:

  • ADF pay & allowances + remuneration amount;
  • pre-CFTS pay & allowances + Reserve pay & allowances;
  • Reserve pay & allowances + civilian pay & allowances; and
  • Seven times the Reserve daily rate of pay.
